Description
Cable glands are devices designed to permit the entry of a cable, flexible cable or insulated conductor into a casting and provide sealing and retention.
They may also provide other functions such as earthing, bonding, installation, cable guarding, strain relief or a combination of these.
Glands are manufactured as per BS 6121 PT 1 : 1989 for use with PVC SWA PVC 600/1000 V cables to BS 6346: 1989.

Material
Free cutting brass IS 319 type (I) or brass 249 type (I) in accordance with RoHS standard
or any special brass material composition as per customer requirements.

Threads
Normally, glands are Metric (MM) Threads. Other threads like Imperial,
Pg and NPT etc. are also available upon request.

Finish
Natural brass shade is available apart from copper SS or nickel plating.
